A Dog’s Life
Spoiling your dog is one of life’s finest moments, and frankly should be a life requirement if you own a dog. Our furry friends are deserving of living their best life and us owners are largely responsible for making that happen.
Our dog, Georgie, is no stranger to the spoilage and actually not afraid of making her requests known through puppy dog eyes, the occasional grunt or nose-punches. Clearly our own creation, but we’re happy to oblige as she’s a very good girl and significant member of our family that brings us much joy. To that end, she never runs out of treats and toys. Being a bully breed, she has no shame in displaying her “power-chewer” skills. When seeking out toys or treats that require chewing, we’re often challenged with finding something that will last.
Stuffed toys are no match for Georgie. Mission #1 is find that squeaker and destroy it. Mission #2 is pierce the skin and draw blood - I mean, stuffing. Most often, the stuffed victim has no shot at making their first birthday, let alone half-birthday. It’s not rare we don’t survive the work week.
That said, the most bang for the buck is found in the more durable toys made of nylon, rubber, or some other mysterious blend of material undoubtedly designed by a bully owner themselves. While great for strong chewer breeds, these toys also provide dental benefits including plaque removal through scraping and gum stimulation via textures.
