Official Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.

1. Sponsor and Administrator

The Origin US Made in USA Photo Contest (the “Contest”) is sponsored and administered by Origin US, a registered fictitious business name operated by an Ohio sole proprietor (“Sponsor”).

The Contest is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by any company listed in the Origin US directory unless expressly stated otherwise.

2. Eligibility

The Contest is open to legal residents of the 50 United States who are at least 18 years old at the time of entry.

Employees of Sponsor, individuals involved in administering or judging the Contest, and their immediate family or household members are ineligible.

Business Participation

The Contest is intended for individual participants, not business entities. Companies and other organizations may not submit entries on their own behalf.

Employees and owners of Made in USA companies, including companies listed in the Origin US directory, may enter in their individual capacities, provided they meet all eligibility requirements.

Entries must consist of original photographs personally taken by the entrant and may not be submitted on behalf of a business or as part of a commercial advertising campaign.

Individuals involved in sponsoring, administering, or judging the Contest are not eligible to enter.

3. Contest Period

The Contest begins November 1, 2026, at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time and ends January 2, 2027, at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time.

Entries must be received by the deadline. Sponsor's submission records will determine the time of receipt.

4. How to Enter

Visit www.originus.co/photo-contest during the Contest Period and complete the official entry form.

Each entrant must provide:

Full name and email address

State of residence

Name and manufacturer of the featured product

One original photograph featuring the product

A brief description of the product and why it was selected

Agreement to these Official Rules and confirmation that the entrant personally took the photograph and obtained any necessary permissions from individuals appearing in it

Entrants may separately choose to grant Origin US permission to publish their submitted photograph and accompanying product information. Photo publication permission is optional and is not required to enter or win.

An optional second photograph showing the product's Made in USA label may be submitted for verification purposes only. It will not be judged.

Limit one entry per person for the entire Contest Period. Additional entries, including entries submitted through alternate email addresses, may be disqualified.

5. Photograph Requirements

All entries must meet the following requirements:

Original Photography: The photograph must be an original work taken by the entrant. Your entry must be a photo you personally took. No stock photos, catalog images, company marketing photos, or promotional materials.

Made in USA Product: Submitted photographs must feature an identifiable product represented by its manufacturer as Made in the USA. Products labeled only "Designed in USA" or "Assembled in USA" are not eligible.

Product Identification: Entrants must identify the product and its manufacturer when submitting their entry.

Product Verification: Origin US reserves the right to verify product eligibility before selecting a winner. Entrants may be asked to provide a photograph of the product's country-of-origin label, a link to the manufacturer's product information, or other reasonable documentation. Entries that cannot be reasonably verified may be deemed ineligible.

People in Photographs: Photographs may include people, provided the entrant has obtained all necessary permissions and releases, including parental or guardian permission for identifiable minors.

Photo Rights: Entrants must own the rights to their submitted photograph and must not infringe upon another person's copyright, privacy, publicity, or other rights.

Image Authenticity: AI-generated or substantially AI-altered images are not eligible. Ordinary cropping, brightness adjustments, and color corrections are permitted.

Appropriate Content: Photographs must not contain unlawful, threatening, hateful, sexually explicit, or otherwise inappropriate material.

6. Finality of Entries

All submissions are final.

Entrants may not edit, replace, or resubmit their competing photograph after submission, including during the Contest Period.

Sponsor may request clarification or additional verification documentation without allowing a replacement contest entry.

7. Judging and Winner Selection

Eligible entries will be evaluated by Sponsor or designated judges according to the following criteria:

Creativity and originality: 40%

Product presentation and visual appeal: 30%

Storytelling and connection to the Made in USA theme: 30%

The entry receiving the highest total score will be selected as the potential winner.

In the event of a tie, the entry with the higher creativity score will prevail. If still tied, the higher product presentation score will determine the winner. Any remaining tie will be resolved by an additional evaluation using the same criteria.

All judging decisions are final, subject to applicable law.

8. Prize

One winner will receive a gift card with a total face value of $50 USD.

The winner may select an eligible company listed in the Origin US directory that offers gift cards for direct purchase at the time the prize is awarded.

The selected company must offer a $50 gift card or two $25 gift cards that may be purchased and redeemed under its terms.

If the chosen company does not offer a qualifying gift card, the winner may select another eligible directory-listed company.

The gift card will be purchased and provided by Origin US. No cash alternative is offered, except as required by law.

Approximate Retail Value (ARV): $50.

Gift card redemption is subject to the issuing company's terms and conditions. Any applicable taxes are the winner's responsibility.

9. Winner Notification

The potential winner will be contacted by email after judging is completed.

The potential winner must respond within seven calendar days of the notification date and provide any reasonably requested eligibility, verification, and prize-selection information.

If the potential winner is ineligible, cannot be contacted, fails to respond by the deadline, or does not satisfy the Contest requirements, Sponsor may select the next highest-scoring eligible entry.

The winner will be announced after eligibility and prize acceptance have been confirmed.

10. Ownership and Photo-Use Permission

Entrants retain ownership and copyright in their original photographs.

Submission of an entry does not automatically grant Origin US permission to publicly display or publish the photograph.

Entrants may voluntarily authorize Origin US to display their submitted photograph and accompanying product information on the Origin US website, in its newsletter, and on its social media channels for purposes related to the Contest and its promotion.

Entrants who select the optional photo-use permission checkbox grant Origin US a nonexclusive, royalty-free license for those specified uses. This permission does not transfer ownership of the photograph to Origin US.

Granting or declining publication permission will not affect an entrant's eligibility, judging, or chances of winning.

Origin US will not publicly display photographs from entrants who have not granted publication permission unless separate authorization is obtained.

Entrants must have the necessary rights and permissions to submit their photographs, including appropriate permission from identifiable individuals appearing in them.

11. Privacy

Personal information collected in connection with the Contest will be used to administer the Contest, verify eligibility, contact entrants when necessary, and award the prize, as described in the Origin US Privacy Policy.

Newsletter subscriptions are optional and are not required to enter.

Sponsor will not publicly disclose entrants' email addresses or other private contact information.

12. Disqualification

Sponsor may disqualify entries that violate these rules, contain false information, infringe third-party rights, or involve fraudulent or automated submission activity.

Sponsor may request reasonable documentation before confirming a winner.

13. Contest Administration

Sponsor may take reasonable steps to address fraud, technical failures, or circumstances beyond its control that materially affect the Contest, subject to applicable law.

Sponsor will not materially change the published judging criteria or prize after the Contest begins except where legally permitted.

14. Winner Announcement

The confirmed winner and winning photograph may be featured on Origin US and in related Contest announcements, subject to the rights and permissions described above.

A request for the winner's name may be submitted to contests@originus.co, subject to applicable privacy requirements.
