Emory Bikes

Jacksonville, Florida 🇺🇸

Operating out of a historic industrial facility on Jacksonville’s Eastside, Emory Bicycles (formerly Clayton-Willard Bicycles) has been a pioneer in American cycling since its founding in 1944. The company made history in 1976 by introducing the Emory Mojave, widely recognized as the first purpose-built beach cruiser designed specifically for coastal riding. Today, under the leadership of the Smith family, the brand continues to honor its heritage by handcrafting durable, high-performance cruisers that are over 90% American-made.

The current Emory C4 Coastal Cruiser series reflects a commitment to "over-engineered" quality, utilizing advanced materials like stainless steel and anodized aluminum to prevent rust in salt-air environments. By leveraging modern CAD/CAM technology and CNC machining in their Jacksonville, Florida factory, Emory produces precision components—including frames, forks, and hubs—that meet tolerances typically reserved for the automotive industry. This dedication to domestic manufacturing ensures that every Emory bike is built to serve as a lifelong companion for neighborhood commutes and beachside adventures alike.
