Burgeon Outdoor is an alpine-inspired technical apparel brand proudly rooted in the rugged terrain of New Hampshire’s White Mountains. Founded in in 2019 by outdoor enthusiast Rudy Glocker, the company operates under a unique, purpose-driven mission: to create a better tomorrow for mountain communities by manufacturing its products locally. Taking its name from the word meaning "to flourish," Burgeon Outdoor seeks to revitalize seasonal mountain economies by providing stable, year-round manufacturing jobs.
The brand operates two primary facilities in New Hampshire: its original flagship studio in Lincoln and a secondary production facility in Gorham. By keeping its cut-and-sew operations local, Burgeon ensures that the economic benefits generated by wilderness tourism directly support the people who live and work in the region.
Burgeon Outdoor specializes in high-performance, small-batch apparel engineered to withstand the volatile and demanding weather conditions of the Northeast. Its Made-in-USA product line includes meticulously crafted base layers, breathable mid-layers, technical fleece, and rugged outerwear tailored for hikers, skiers, and climbers.
Deeply committed to environmental stewardship and social responsibility, Burgeon Outdoor operates a sustainable business model that donates 5% of all sales back to local community and environmental efforts, which includes maintaining three designated hiking trail sections in the White Mountains.
